Common things

Can't log in

Try Forgot password from the sign-in screen first — you'll get a reset link within a minute. If the email doesn't arrive, check spam then email us; we can manually verify and send a new link.

Didn't get the verification code

Check spam, then wait 2 minutes (SES delivery is usually instant but can queue briefly). If still nothing, tap Resend inside the verify sheet. If your email was wrong, tap Wrong email? and change it.

A dish you reported is still up

Reports go to a human moderator. We review within 24 hours weekdays. If a dish is hitting our auto-hide threshold (3+ unique reports), it goes offline pending review. If you believe something's being missed, email us with the post id (visible in the three-dot menu).

Your account was suspended

Email appeals@dishko.app with your @handle and a description of what happened. Appeals are reviewed by a different moderator than the one who made the original call.

Delete your account

Profile → Delete Account. Takes effect immediately. Cascades across your posts, votes, follows, and notifications. Irreversible — we don't keep a backup after deletion.

Bug or feature request

Email is fine. Screenshots help. If it's a crash, we usually already have the stack trace (Sentry), but a note saying "I was trying to X when Y happened" speeds us up.

Urgent

If you see content that depicts a crime in progress, an imminent threat to life, or CSAM: report via the in-app Report button AND email urgent@dishko.app with the post url. Our on-call moderator responds within 1 hour.
